Apprenticeship Support

The Anglesea and District Men’s Shed is making funds available for grants to assist apprentices living in the area of Anglesea, Aireys Inlet, Fairhaven and Moggs Creek or working for a local trade in the above areas.

Young apprentices who are in their 1st or 2nd year of training or mature age apprentices of any year, are eligible to apply for a grant.

Total funds available may be granted to one applicant or split across several applicants.

The Men’s Shed wants to assist in promoting ‘hands on skills’ in all trades.

Grants are open to all trades and applications are welcomed from female and male apprentices.

Grants may be used for any purpose to do with enhancing their trade education and skill learning.

See application form for details required with application.

Within 6 months of receiving a grant, successful applicants will be expected to advise the Anglesea Men’s Shed Grants Committee in writing as to how they have spent their grant

The Anglesea and District Men’s Shed Grant Committee will be the sole arbiter in assessing all applications and will allocate funds on the individual merits of the individual applications. All decisions will be final.

Applications can be lodged at any time.
